Huntington North JROTC receives generous donation from The American Legion Post 85Huntington, IN - On the morning of April 9th, 2025, the American Legion, Post 85 presented the Huntington North High School, JROTC program with a donation of $5000. In March of 2025, Cadets from the HNHS JROTC presented the American Legion with a briefing explaining all that the JROTC program consists of. Topics ranged from daily activities/life skills learned in the classroom, the five extracurricular activities cadets can participate in, and the numerous community service hours donated to the community each year.

Cadets learn and live by the Army JROTC motto of “To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens.” This is validated yearly by the estimated 3,000 manpower hours given back to the community.
